Synopsis
Kalah (Káh
lah)
is a young time-traveler and spiritual teacher from ancient
Hawaii. Groomed by the elders of her village for the journey
of a lifetime, she takes a leap of faith and lands in the 21st
century. She is destined to meet a New Yorker named Sarah
who is angry, confused and in the middle of a spiritual
meltdown. In Sarah she finds passion and untapped power, a
human volcano in need of a creative outlet. She also
recognizes that Sarah is struggling with "the saboteur,"
another name for the human ego. Ultimately, all must face
this entity and learn its true nature. To help her new
friends, Kalah brings a mysterious lamp, handed down through
the generations since the time of Lemuria. Its flame is the
color of a rainbow. It symbolizes each person's true
birthright as a vessel for sacred light. Sarah and her
circle open their hearts to this eternal fire. Joining their
new friends on the Big Island, they engage in a sacred
ritual of forgiveness and celebrate the fact that their
lives will never be the same.
